Live Online Pilates Classes

Thanks to our new “norm” of working from our homes in March 2020, I now offer my pilates classes to you in the comfort of your living room from the comfort of my own. I may not be the quickest to adapt to new technology but I have transitioned to this way of teaching and would very much like to share my classes with you.

The benefits

  • Physical and mental wellbeing
  • having your own creature comforts
  • no petrol spent to get here

How does it work?

Using an online programme/app called Zoom.  Click here to find out how to download zoom onto your device (laptop, ipad or computer):

Click on the link below to see how to join a meeting after you have received an email from me with all the information you will need to join the class:

What you will need:

  • A laptop, ipad, or computer to view the class
  • Space to exercise – a mat is optional
  • Towels – to act as head cushions
  • Peace and quiet to concentrate

Will I have to show my living room space to others online?
The video option is helpful for me to see you and correct your posture and position. You can have the video off if you prefer.

What happens if I lose the internet connection or fail to join the class?
I am offering a pre-recorded video of the class in addition to the live class (at this time of uncertainty) so you will not miss out on the class.

How much does it cost?
As this is a new venture, I am offering different weekly options. The moment I have a handful of people interested I will start a new class. Payment is online and will be on a monthly basis. You are welcome to try a taster session.

30 minute class  - £5
45 minute class - £7.50
60 minute class - £10

I have never done pilates before. Does that matter?
The class will be suitable for all abilities from complete beginners to the more advanced. The key is understanding the basics. I will be offering a free 20min consultation on zoom to check fitness levels and what modifications may be needed.

I am interested. What do I do now?

Before I started pilates I didn’t have much movement in my shoulders due to having a frozen shoulder a few years ago which left me with a lot of stiffness and now I can lift both arms well above my head.
